Maternity Nurse Services in High Peak, Derbyshire & Stockport
Gentle, expert support for your baby’s early weeks
Gentle, expert support for your baby’s early weeks
Welcoming a new baby is a beautiful experience, but it can also feel overwhelming, especially when you’re sleep-deprived or facing feeding challenges. As a qualified Maternity Nurse (OCN Level 5), Holistic Infant Sleep Coach (OCN Level 6), and Breastfeeding Counsellor, I provide responsive, non-judgemental newborn care for families across the High Peak, Derbyshire, and Stockport area.
I offer daytime support & guidance and my role is to help you feel confident, supported, and well-rested in your baby’s first months.

What Does a Maternity Nurse Do?
A maternity nurse (sometimes called a newborn care specialist) offers practical, hands-on support for families after birth. I can help with:
Sleep guidance and education
Using gentle, responsive methods, I will never discourage contact napping, feeding to sleep or strict schedules.
Reflux and colic support
For unsettled babies, exploring the root cause and educating you on getting the best support and care for your little one.
Feeding support
Both breastfeeding and bottle-feeding guidance
Overnight baby care
So you can rest and recover (by request)
Practical newborn care
Settling, bathing, safe sleep routines
Supporting siblings
Helping the whole family adjust

My Specialist Approach
What makes my support unique is my specialism in feeding and reflux care. Many newborns struggle with symptoms of reflux, colic, or feeding difficulties, which can make nights particularly challenging.
With my background in infant feeding and holistic sleep coaching, I can help identify possible causes and guide you towards gentle solutions.I am equally passionate about supporting bottle-feeding families as I am breastfeeding, offering evidence-based, non-judgemental education for both.
